Round 11 sees us head for the hills, way above sea level in Mexico. Only recently added back to the F1 calendar, this unique circuit offers some fantastic speed, and some fantastic overtaking spots. Look for overtakes heading into turn 1, turn 4, and maybe even through the infamous stadium sector, where the fans really get to see the cars up close and personal.
The weather this weekend is an interesting one in Mexico City. Thunderstorms all weekend are brewing, but whether there will be rain in those clouds, it’s hard to tell at this moment in time. Qualifying looks like it might be okay, but Sunday looks a little different, we may have a wet finale!
With the F1 championship wrapped up last week by cliffy, our attention turns to the other end of the table, where a number of drivers will be desperate for points in their bid to stay up. Amongst them are mini, bulldogs, wardy, energy and tbell, even gerk and lamine aren’t safe. Find out on Sunday who goes down to F2..
In the meantime, check out this super quick lap around Mexico, set by season 2 winner in Mexico, legominecraft3.
