The race we’ve all been waiting for.. the finale.. and what a track to host such an event. Malaysia is arguably one of the best tracks on the calendar as it has a number of slow and fast corners, long straights and great overtaking spots. You can expect to see overtakes in the first turn, turn 4, turn 9, turn 14 and sometimes even 15.
At this point, the weather is anybodies guess. With thunderstorms plaguing the area all week, it certainly looks like it could rain, but there may be possible breaks in the weather that may provide respite for the drivers.
All eyes are on F1 as Lego and Cliffy prepare to go head to head for the season 7 championship. Lego takes the advantage into Malaysia with a 5 point lead, but Cliffy knows a win, will secure the title. Both drivers have been practicing all week, but who is going to be victorious when the flag drops? Will we get a 7th F1 champion in 7 seasons? Or will Cliffy break the streak and become our first double F1 champion?
Things are looking interesting in F2 as well, with as many as 3 drivers all still with a chance of winning the title. MrCosta takes a huge advantage of 16 points into the race, so he will be strongly favoured, however, a mistake from him may be costly as goodaids and Trizzy lie in wait.
With the top 5 in F3 guaranteed promotion, our eyes turn to Polarblzz, who is currently in promotion by just 3 points. He will be hoping for a nice clean race, as Olly, bendall and KLC will be ready and waiting to take the final spot from him.
