Australia Stewards Report

Formula 1

Incident: karting and dougie make contact at turn 3.

Stewards View: At first, this looked like a netcode issue, but upon viewing Kartings footage, it is clear that karting was nowhere near the diffuser of dougie, and was simply a desync.

Decision: No further action warranted.

Incident: Lewis and Lego make contact at turn 8.

Stewards View: It is clear that lewis simply got too close to the back of lego, despite drivers being warned about netcode, and caused the incident.

Decision: lewis will receive 3 points on his licence.

Incident: Frisky and Tekken make contact at turn 13.

Stewards View: There is not sufficient evidence in Tekken’s video, as the camera he uses doesn’t allow us to see Frisky’s car.

Decision: No further action warranted.

Formula 2

Incident: PrototypeStef makes contact with DomainZain at turn 9.

Stewards View: At first, this looked bad, but under review of video, PrototypeStef makes an effort to avoid contact, but loses control of his car on the grass, after he received a late warning for the VSC.

Decision: No further action warranted.

Formula 3

Incident: Hotzonda and bigmetsaa make contact on the DRS straight between turns 2 and 3.

Stewards View: It looks as though hotzonda gives enough room, and bigmetsaa tries to squeeze in, or back up, and there is possible netcode there, but it did end hotzondas race, and without video evidence from bigmetsaa, it’s hard to defend.

Decision: bigmetsaa will receive 3 points on his licence.

Incident: donrajib and King_MJJ make contact at turn 15.

Stewards View: Not sure what donrajib was trying todo, but it looked like he overcooked it and didn’t brake in time.

Decision: donrajib will receive a 5 second penalty and a reprimand.
